Pike Street Community Garden

This is our first Pontiac Agriculture Network community garden. We had a pretty good turnout this time for the mulching. A couple (Bill and Marge) who are in the master gardener class right now came with their two teenage grandsons (Scott and Brian). Another young man from up the street - Greg was there for an hour as well.

Yesterday (Sunday, 11/4/06) was our fourth workday this fall for this garden).

By the time I got my camera for the photos, five people had left. The garden is ready for spring.

Negoatiations are going on right now for the sale of this property. Part of those is the stipulation that the garden will remain.
